Reviews and Ratings
Our visit to Chilston Park was a delightful experience overall, highlighted by stunning wedding planning support and exquisite dining. The venue exuded charm and character, making it a perfect setting for special occasions, though some service aspects didn't meet expectations during busy times. While the food was mostly exceptional, some inconsistencies on a particular evening left us wanting more. The hotel definitely offers a luxurious atmosphere, making it a memorable stay despite a few hiccups.
While the hotel boasts an impressive historic charm and a lovely ambiance, my experience with the dining and service left much to be desired. It’s great that they offer a variety of options for meals, but the execution wasn’t up to par. The room was unique but had some issues, especially regarding comfort. I appreciated the quirks of the building but overall, I expected more for the price.
I had a lovely stay at this charming country house hotel. The accommodations were spacious and well-appointed, with a picturesque view that added to the experience. However, there were some shortcomings in service during our afternoon tea that didn't quite meet expectations. Still, the hotel offered a relaxing atmosphere and a memorable experience overall.
My stay at Chilston Park was truly delightful, celebrating my husband's birthday was a highlight. The staff went above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our stay special. However, my earlier experience with their afternoon tea was less than satisfactory, but they did an exceptional job correcting it during my return visit. The grounds of the hotel are enchanting, making it a beautiful escape, but there is room for improvement in certain dining options.
I had a lovely experience at Chilston Park Hotel, from the beautiful setting to the attentive staff. The comfortable accommodations were a big plus, and the afternoon tea was nothing short of delightful. However, the noise from the mews cottages can be a bit disruptive, which was a slight downside. Overall, it's a charming spot that I'd happily return to.
